Let me be clear, I filed this under "Awesomeness" because I have no other section where this might go. It is truly awesome that he is alive after such a catastrophic event. Not so awesome that this had to happen at all, but as Tim puts it, "Stupid Hurts".In 2007, Tim was skydiving with his friends. They jumped from 11,000 feet and Tim was wearing what appears to be a helmet mounted camera. Tim became entangled with his friends parachute and starts to free fall. Unable to get untangled he hit the Earth at a high speed. Below is the description from the YouTube video.

Christmas is coming early for a lot of us tonight. The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is airing tonight at 10/9c on CBS and if the past is any indication, we will not be disappointed. One major difference from last year is that bombshell Miranda Kerr will be hitting the runway once again. Last year she was notably absent as she was pregnant with her son, Flynn, whom she had with actor Orlando Bloom. Lucky. Not only is she just back but she will also be wearing the $2.5 million dollar bra. Although a $2.5 million dollar bra is clearly unnecessary, seeing Miranda in it is worth every penny.
A lot of guys might be watching tonight in groups. If there are two or more of you, then we have a treat for you. To make this evening even better, we have come up with the Victoria's Secret Drinking Game. Below is a list of rules to follow in which you may have to kill your beer, hand out seconds to drink, or be forced to drink yourself. Obviously drinking games make any event a better time, so why not lend that idea to the VS Fashion Show?
