Introducing Jevo, The Keurig Style Jello Shot Maker

File under: Wut.

Yes. You did read that right. A man by the name of Jeff Jetton has created an automatic jello shot maker called Jevo. This machine will make you 20 jello shots in 10 minutes as opposed to making them the traditional way which takes I don’t know, ask the girl you know that always makes the jello shots for the party.

Like the Keurig coffee maker, the Jevo will have different cups that represent different flavors of jello. Pick the liquor, pick the flavor and wait 10 minutes for the party to start.

“The idea came up a few years ago really because there was no automation around making gelatin,” he said. “We were sitting here looking at technology like Keurig and Soda Stream where you choose the flavor pod and the machine does the work, but there was nothing around the archaic, time consuming and inconsistent process of making gelatin.”

Jetton realizes, too, that this isn’t just going to be for the bars and frat houses. Another future plan for the Jevo would be to be installed in hospitals and nursing homes to help mix patients proteins and medicine with jello on the fly. Think of the possibilities of that!

“Now we can have medications in the mix and it’s easier to consume,” he said. “That’s when you start looking and seeing that it’s bigger than Jell-O shots and college kids.”

For now, it seems the Jevo is being marketed for the bar and restaurant scene, but Jetton would like to eventually make a smaller model to put next to your Keurig on your kitchen counter.

The Jevo is all touch screen automated and featured LED signage on the sides for advertising. It is self-cleaning and wi-fi enabled in case you want to play it in a game of Words With Friends. Probably not so much that but rather to accept ads from a Jevo app for the side of the machine. But either way.

Jetton will be unveiling Jevo at the Nightclub and Bar Show in Las Vegas beginning March 30.
