John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight is a great show. One of our favorites. While he puts a satirical spin on the news, he gets the point across. This week, he tackled transgender rights and how the media and the public sound like complete morons when talking to them or about them.
In the clips of newscasts, which include Barbara Walters and Katie Couric, you can really see how inconsiderate the mainstream media is and how they seem to get a free pass.
One of the worst parts might have to be Mike Huckabee’s story he told during a speech, which is so completely off base I don’t know how he didn’t fall off the stage.
