Brick’s going to love more than just lamp.
Hopefully reports are true and Kristen Wiig will be joining the already stellar cast of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. According to AceShowBiz.com, Wiig will play the love interest of Steve Carell’s Brick Tamland. I don’t think I need to remind everyone how brilliant Carell was as Tamland in the first Anchorman waaaay back in 2004. Adding Wiig by his side could very well steal the movie away from Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and David Koechner.
There hasn’t been a lot said about the plot of Anchorman 2. Although according to ASB, it will have musical numbers performed by the cast. I’m not usually for that sort of thing, but if anyone can pull it off it is this ensemble.
Look for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in theaters sometime around October 2013.
