Will Ferrell appeared on “Conan” last night to officially announce that there will be a sequel to the smash hit “Anchorman”. He came in abruptly, playing his jazz flute, and made some off color jokes in true Ron Burgundy fashion.
Other than give up the news that there was a sequel in the works, he didn’t give much information. According to Deadline Hollywood, though, it will be produced under Judd Apatow with Ferrell’s and Adam MKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions. They are also reporting that Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell and David Koechner will return as his sidekicks.
No word on whether or not Christina Applegate will reprise her role as Veronica Corningstone.
