A downtown Los Angeles LED road construction sign was likely hacked, according to the company that owns it. Traffic Management Incorporated said that whomever was responsible for changing the message on the sign would have had to physically break into the electronics box on the sign.
Although they did acknowledge the sign may be wi-fi enabled and if there is anything we know in 2015, it’s that if it is wi-fi,someone can access it.
