IBM Watson is a question answering computer that has decimated the likes of Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter, two of the biggest winners in Jeopardy! history. So what could possibly bring down this super machine? How about Taylor Swift, Elton John and Brad Paisley?
While Watson has trouble deciphering the song lyrics to these popular songs, the professional transcriptionists do not.
I will say, though, that Watson does sing songs a lot like I do. Honestly, I think I like Watson’s version of Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” better than the original. I’ll probably sing it “Blue gene bear, bear” from now on.
