Kygo Joins A-ha At Nobel Peace Prize Concert For ‘Take On Me’

What would you consider more unusual? The Nobel Peace Prize having a concert or Nordic tropical house producer Kygo joining the 80’s band A-ha on stage at said concert?

I guess both are unusual.

It happened, though, and we’re glad it did. Kygo lended his smooth flute sounds to the classic “Take On Me” from A-ha. Nothing we haven’t heard before, but this was the first time we’ve seen it performed live and it was clear the home crowd in Oslo, Norway were big fans of their budding EDM superstar.

Kygo hit the stage three other times performing “Stay”, “Firestone” and “Stole the Show.”

Perhaps the best part of the movie is the people in the crowd dancing. I can only assume they aren’t really tropical house EDM fans, so this was probably a new experience for them. Their dancing can be summed up at the 2:10 mark with the lady in white. She wins this entire video.
