Per Jay Glazer’s Twitter account, it appears that the Atlanta Falcons have signed Brian Banks. Banks, if you recall, was wrongfully accused of rape and spent five years in prison for something he didn’t do. He was a high school stand out and was headed to USC on a football scholarship when this all happened.
After over five years in prison, the California Innocence Project exonerated Brian Banks of all charges after the woman involved in the case recanted her claim. It seems now Brian’s life is back on track and Jay Glazer, one of Brian Banks’ biggest supporters since his exoneration, couldn’t be happier. Neither could we! Congratulations, Brian Banks. You definitely deserve it and good luck making the 53-man roster next season!
