Cardale Jones Returing To Ohio State In 2015

Ohio State University quarterback and post season hero Cardale Jones is foregoing the 2015 NFL Draft and returning to Ohio State University. During a press conference from his former high school — The Ginn Academy — in Cleveland, Jones expressed his gratitude toward OSU and head coach Urban Meyer. He also said he was not ready for the NFL after three games.

“My decision was very simple. I’m gonna return next year for school.”

His Tweet earlier had a lot of us (us included) convinced he was going to be leaving for the NFL.

Cardale Jones only started three games for the Buckeyes, but in those three game — The B1G Championship, The Sugar Bowl and The National Championship — he earned a championship ring. While he never started a game in Ohio Stadium or the regular season for that matter, Jones will now have the opportunity to build his legend in Ohio State football.

With Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett coming back from injuries, OSU fans still don’t know who is starting neither does Jones. It will be a battle for everyone and whomever takes the reigns will definitely deserve it.

Good luck at the next level, 12 Gauge.
