A couple weeks ago, Dion Waiters — still with the Cleveland Cavaliers at that point — pulled up for a wide open three pointer. Instead of tickling the bottom of the twine, he banged it off the top of the backboard.

As a Cavaliers fan, this was disconcerting to say the least. Which is why I was/am so happy about the trade that sent Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder and brought Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith Swish to the Cavs.
Now he was the Thunder’s problem and while he had maintained roughly the same numbers he did when playing with the Cavs, it was only a matter of time before Dion Waiters gave us another “Boner of the Week” moment.
Waiters gonna wait.
