Let’s hope he Jahlil Okafor’s dad doesn’t have feet like his son because he has snugly secured at least one of them into his larger than life mouth.
Caught up in the bright lights of the TMZ camera’s, Okafor’s father, Chukwudi, weighed in on where he thinks his son sits in the lineage of Chicago basketball talent.
“Jahlil is the best player to ever come out of Chicago. My son’s absolutely the most decorated player ever from the city.”
Nope. I’m not kidding. He said that.
Sure, Okafor is a 3x FIBA Gold Medalist, 1st team All-American and, most recently, a National Champion. But, you know what he is not?

An NBA MVP
An NBA All-Star Selection
