We weren’t there, but based on the play we saw from Johnny Manziel last year — and the reports coming from Berea, Ohio this year — we can safely assume that Manziel missed his intended target.
An 18-year-old fan was heckling Manziel while he was at the Byron Nelson Classic on Saturday and Manziel apparently lost his cool and chucked his water bottle at him. Police were called because it’s 2015 and this is the stupid shit they have to deal with now. No charges were filed.
No word on what the kid was saying to Manziel, but you can bet it was bad because teenagers are all dickheads.
A lot of people think that Manziel is being phased out of the Cleveland Browns offense and he is going to be on his way out of town sooner rather than later, but is there anything more Cleveland than throwing a bottle? Maybe he does get it after all?
