LeBron James has choked at times and I think you can agree, that when he launched what would be the game winning buzzer-beater yesterday in Chicago, you held your breath. It seemed like and eternity.
It almost didn’t happen, too.
If we are to believe LeBron James’ post-game commentary, he insisted that he get the game-winning shot after head coach David Blatt drew up a play that had James inbounding the ball.
You read that right. Blatt wanted the greatest basketball player in the world to inbound the pass.
A lot has been made about LeBron calling plays and overruling Blatt this year and I think we can all sit back in our chairs now with both hands up, slightly nodding, as if to tell LeBron “ok, do what you want.”
Hopefully Blatt is doing the same.
