Lesson: Never Speed With Weed

olivia_namathHaving a party anytime soon?  Don’t forget to invite Olivia Namath.  The daughter of hall of fame quarterback and drunk in public connoisseur Joe Namath was arrested this morning in Jupiter, Florida after being pulled over by a Palm Beach County Sheriffs Deputy.  She was originally pulled over for speeding, but upon approaching the car, the officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana.  After conducting a search of the car he found a bag of marijuana on the floor of the driver’s side.  While searching the trunk of the silver Mercedes, the officer hit the jackpot.  Just over 200 grams of marijuana all packaged nice and neat along with 11 beer cans and an open bottle of Captain Morgan’s Rum.  By the way, Olivia is 19.  She denied knowing anything about the marijuana or alcohol but also said no one else had access to her trunk.  Hmm, I don’t know about this one O, looks like daddy’s going to be paying a heavy fine.  She was arrested for possession of marijuana under 20 grams, possession of alcohol by a minor, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.  They might as well throw in Stupidity by a minor as well.  Someone needs to let Olivia in on the secret: You don’t speed with weed…Ask Nate Newton.
