With the Miami Marlins out of the running for superstar first baseman Albert Pujols, they moved on to pursuing left handed free agent C.J. Wilson. With just snatching up Buehrle yesterday, it would just further solidify an already solid rotation.
But Los Angeles Angels have other plans. Although they offered a year less than the Marlins (5 to their 6), Wilson is a SoCal boy and pitching at home is everyone’s dream.
In case the decision was too hard for C.J. Wilson, Marlins outfielder and Twitter comedian Logan Morrison decided he would help sway his decision. Not to be outdone, Angels outfielder Torii Hunter made sure he made a strong case for his team as well.
Gotta love Twitter.
