The Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers had a bit of a back and forth Monday night. After a two-plus hour rain delay, the teams started slugging away at each other.
In the bottom of the seventh, the clubs found themselves knotted up at six a piece. With Francisco Lindor on, Mike Napoli came to the plate and with one swing of the bat, put the Indians ahead for good. His moon shot homerun — that I can only assume came down in the stands with ice on it — got the homerun call it so justly deserved from Indians radio announcer Tom Hamilton.

Napoli’s 430-foot bomb gave the Indians their 10th consecutive win against the Tigers this year and moved their home winning streak to 12.
