Ohio State And Oregon Release Their National Championship Uniforms

The Ohio State Buckeyes will square off against the Oregon Ducks on January 12 in Arlington, Texas at the first ever College Football Playoff Championship and since they are both repped by Nike, we can expect to see some crisp uniforms.

Oregon will be ditching their apple green uniforms for some clean white and grey uni’s. The letters and numbers will be a dark grey while their helmets will sport the chrome wing design with their signature “O” on the back. You may notice that the entire ensemble is lacking one thing…the school’s official colors of thunder green and lightning yellow. Interesting curveball, Ducks.

The Buckeyes will be rocking their home scarlet jerseys with the classic five stripe helmet. As a little twist, the numbers on their shoulder pads will be black while the back and chest numbers will be white. This is a nod to their championship team from 1968 who donned the black numbers on their shoulders.

Look good, play good.
