Unfortunately the USA Basketball’s 2010-2012 mens national team that was announced this morning would get ran out of the gym by the 1992 Dream Team pictured above but thats no surprise. There has never been a team assembled like the 1992 Dream Team (minus Christian Laettner) but this version of USA basketball is filled with today’s premier players such as; Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, and Dwayne Wade. The 27 players announced today will make up the rosters for this summer’s FIBA World Championship in Turkey and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Not only is this team filled with former NBA most valuable players but some of the associations young stars like Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, O.J. Mayo, and Russell Westbrook.
