Buckeye fans, and Urban Meyer, can breath a sigh of relief tonight as news broke via Yahoo! that surveillance video from the night club where Carlos Hyde was accused of striking a female in face surfaced. The video allegedly shows the female striking Hyde in the head.
According to the Yahoo!, the video then shows Hyde reach back toward the victim in a “non-confrontational manner”. The video shows that it does not appear that Hyde struck the female at all.
Also, Yahoo! has indicated that charges aren’t expected to be filed against Carlos Hyde since this video evidence has surfaced.
On Monday, Meyer suspended Hyde from the team indefinitely pending the outcome of the investigation. With this bit of good news, Buckeyes fans have no reason to think Hyde will will miss any games.
