Alex Trebek and Jeopardy Use Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ as Categories…All of the Categories [VIDEO]
Obviously just by reading the headline, you could probably guess that this happened during Teen Week on Jeopardy. Teen Week is one of my favorite weeks because of the ease of the answers…and don’t sit there and laugh because unless you’re in Mensa, the questions are usually nearly impossible. But that’s neither here, nor there. This week, Jeopardy writers put their clever pants on when selecting categories for their teen contestants.
Tampa Police Department went in a more unconventional direction while figuring out the best way to let the public know how to get in touch with them. The obvious number is 9-1-1, but there are different numbers within a police department that one might need. If you are one of those people, you are going to have to sit through Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe while the department puts on a song and dance for you.
It makes sense that two artists that created two of the most annoying songs of the past 10 years would team up for a new single, right? That’s right, Fireflies and Call Me Maybe creators collaborated on the Summer jam Good Time. Thankfully, Sexy Ray Vision was there to save our ears from the raping that would have ensued. SRV put together a great remix that would be perfect for the beach or celebrating the 4th.
