Online Casinos Gave Delaware The Record Amount

Delaware Casino received the record for revenue in May thanks to online gambling. And the best part is they aren’t even the best online casino sites.

In April 2016, three casinos in Delaware broke the record for revenues from online gambling at mobile casinos, earning more than $282,000.00. This was reported in its monthly report on income by the Delaware State Lottery.

“Revenues from online gambling in the state increased by 5.3% compared to April 2015 and by 111% in comparison with May 2015″, the official report says. Income of the Delaware Park Casino in May amounted to $ 133.9 thousand, which is 13.5% less than April’s revenue and 82.7% more than the income received by a casino in May 2015.

Casino Dover Downs earned more than $118,000.00. This amount is 32% higher than the income in April 2015 and almost three times higher than the income in May 2015. However, Harrington Casino received $30,000.00 from online gambling in May. This is 31% less than April’s revenue and 44.5% more revenue in May of 2015

While the online casinos are popular, the board games they offer have brought 40% less income, or -$54,000, to the state institutions.

On the flip side, video lottery revenue grew by 31% compared to last year to the tune of $187,000.00. Online poker followed suit with an increase of 16% over the year to add $40,000.00 to the haul.

In total, April’s revenue from online gambling in Delaware was $267,000.00

2017 has the potential to beat these revenue records, but we won’t know about that until the end of the year.

Revenues from online gambling in Delaware in March exceeded $260,000.00. There is a strong chance this could mean the economic situation is getting worse, attracting more online players to gain extra money. Another conclusion that can be made from this situation is that people have begun to trust to online casinos more and give their money more willingly, expecting to receive an honest game from them.
