Thunder Treats Podcast Episode 064: UConn(s) Wins, Kate Beckinsale Wins, Chief Wahoo Does Not, The Masters, Wrestlemania & Happy Anniversary ‘Major League’

Welcome to the 64th installment of the Thunder Treats Podcast! Happy Birthday to my Momma! March Madness is all over and UConn stands atop the College Basketball world with both the men and women winning the National Championships. It should be noted that when we recorded the podcast, the game had just started and it was 4-0 UConn and we just assumed they would win…and win they did, to the tune of 79-58 to go 40-0 on the season. Head coach Geno Auriemma’s 9th title at the school.

Also, Cougar Madness wrapped up this week with rookie cougar Kate Beckinsale taking the championship from veteran Jennifer Aniston. It was a hard fought battle that makes you wonder if Aniston will ever get her crown.

Things got dicey in Cleveland on opening day as a man in red face came face to face with a real Native American. How long before Cleveland ditches Chief Wahoo? According to Keith Olbermann, they should change the name Indians too.

Wrestlemania had fans in a state of panic after the Undertaker had his streak of 21 straight wins at Wrestlemania snapped by part-time wrestler Brock Lesnar. Kind of weak if you ask me.

There was also a tragic loss by MLB umpire John Hirschbeck who lost his 27 year old son, Michael, to ALD. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

And lastly, Lydell‘s 18 month old girl Amari joined us this week as our honorary stat girl! Listen below or you can subscribe to us on iTunes!
