Ohio native Adrienne Palicki has landed the role of Wonder Woman for the for the upcoming NBC reboot of the 1970’s classic. Although it has been hard to bring the Wonder Woman franchise back, NBC is now under new management (thank God) and feels this is the right time to add the franchise to next falls lineup.
The former Friday Night Lights star will be playing the part of Diane Prince who lives her life trying to balance out being an important business executive as well as a vigilante crime fighter. In addition to Friday Night Lights where she played Tyra Collete, Palicki is starring in the upcoming film Red Dawn. Her last gig on TV was on Fox’s shortlived show Lone Star.
Hopefully NBC can get this right so we can see more of Adrienne. Their last attempt with Bionic Woman failed to get any attention and was short lived.
