Sony May Scratch Plans To Release ‘The Interview’ Altogether

It started out funny. They’ll do a movie about killing Kim Jung Un. Of course everyone would be on board with that. After all, we do read — on an almost daily basis — about North Korea and the conditions in which their citizens live. So there shouldn’t have been much backlash from a movie that featured BFF’s Seth Rogen and James Franco being sent over seas to “take out” the leader.

No backlash from people here in America, that is.

After a group of hackers — who North Korea claim they don’t know (riiiiiight) — took down the infrastructure at Sony, releasing unreleased movies and damaging emails, they have moved on to bigger threats of the terroristic variety if the studio proceeds and releases The Interview.

We recommend you to keep yourself distant. We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places “The Interview” be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to.

Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.

The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001.

We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time.
(If your house is nearby, you’d better leave.)

Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment. All the world will denounce the SONY.

Since this statement was released, the New York City premiere, scheduled for Thursday, has been canceled. Also, there are reports that the Carmike Cinemas has pulled the film as a result of the threats. It is expected that many more will follow…unless Sony decides to pull the release altogether.

And in one of the more telling signs of the film’s future, Seth Rogen and James Franco have canceled all press for, and leading up to, the release of The Interview. They also did an interview with George Stephanopoluous on GMA where the two claimed they weren’t trying to offend anyone and they just wanted to make a funny  movie.

So basically, North Korea is being North Korea.
