TeenNick to give nostalgia overload with 'The 90's Are All That'

allthatI am 27 years old.  About 17 or so years ago, Nickelodeon was my shit.  Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark, GUTS, Doug, Double Dare and many, many more are what got me through afterschool and summer days.  I remember looking for Salute Your Shorts on dvd last year because Donkey Lips, Budnick and Zeke the Plumber were just that cool.  Well now, thanks to the gifted higher ups at Nickelodeon, we are being treated with a mega blast of nostalgia.

Last Monday, TeenNick started a 4 hour block of programming of what our generation would call classics.  The block, referred to as “The 90’s Are All That”, will run from midnight to 4 a.m. and feature various shows from the early 1990’s.  What is shown during the block will be influenced by the response on Facebook, where up to 15 million people in various groups have pleaded to get these shows back on the air.  Right now, the current cycle is All That, Clarrisa Explains it All, Kenan & Kel and Doug.

Even if the shows that are running right now aren’t some of your favorites, I highly suggest watching themclarissaexplainsitall
anyways.  I watched Clarissa Explains It All last night and even though the acting was terrible, aka early 90’s sitcom acting, it brought me back to a time when there were no real problems.  Nickelodeon has said that if there is a spike in the ratings then they would consider making “The 90’s Are All That” a part of the Nick at Nite programming.

I know the time frame kind of sucks but that is why we have DVR.  Let’s all work together on Facebook to get Hey Dude back!  I love me some Brad!  Below is a list of the shows that are to be re-aired.
