What Games Are You Playing On The Crapper?

Ok, just keep sitting there acting like you don’t whip out that cell phone every time nature calls. I’ll wait for you to come around.

Ready?

Good.

We all do it. Whether you’re ready to admit it or not, we all have been programmed over the last decade or so to automatically reach for our mobile device when we’re in the solitude of loo. Is it wrong? Probably. Is it gross? You know it. Does it stop us? No.

So now that we’re all on the same page, the next logical question would be “what are you doing on your phone?” For some, it’s a chance to respond to some text messages or emails. Others might be doing research or reading the news or perusing their social media accounts.

Then there are the gamers.

Whether it be a war game, casino game or skill game; there is no doubt that this is the best way to spend your four to eight minutes alone.

For me it’s always been about casino games. Living in Vegas for a few years, I developed an affinity for the tables. A debt that I am only now paying off completely five years later. For that that very reason, the free casino games are the way to go for me. It scratches the gambling itch and provides great entertainment. My go to game is mainly playing online blackjack but I also use the apps as an opportunity to learn how to play other table games.

Other games I’ll use for entertainment would be Words With Friends or Scramble With Friends. Both options make you think and using your brain is always good. Gotta keep the noggin’ fresh, amiright? I usually have multiple games going with multiple people so there is always an option to play when “needed.”

kateupton

If those types of games don’t tickle your fancy, perhaps a war or battle game would? I know you have seen Kate Upton pandering to nerds on those Game of War commercials. This is exactly what I’m talking about. I’m not going to sit here and pretend I know what that game is all about but I will tell you that if they are buying the air time they are while using Kate Upton in their commercials, then more than one person is playing this game on the crapper.

Social media still may be the biggest “getter” while spending time on the throne. People get lost in their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds all the time. Even more so when sitting in the (mostly) silent majesty of the restroom. Because when you’re dumping out, what is better than seeing everyone’s babies or checking out how much more fun all of your friends are having than you?

I’m sure there are other options out there but for me, these are the go to. I swear I don’t spend most of my life on the crapper. It just seems that way.
