I imagine that every single person in East Haven, Connecticut that voted for Mayor Joseph Maturo is kicking themselves in the ass right now. The interview is supposed to be about his outreach plan after 4 COPS WERE ARRESTED FOR RACIALLY PROFILING LATINOS but it hits a big snag when the local television station asks the question “What are you doing for the Latino community today?”.

His back peddling and stuttering is something that I would expect from a 5th grader that has just said something he shouldn’t have. This is completely unacceptable from someone in public office. With that said, I don’t think he was trying to be a racist, I think he just picked the wrong time for a lame joke. So while he might not be a racist, he is definitely dumb as hell.
