Florida State University quarterback Jameis Winston has announced he will be declaring for the 2015 NFL Draft.
Doubt was raised this week when multiple news outlets reported that Winston was very serious about staying at FSU for the upcoming season. However, today we get a full statement from the quarterback, addressed to “Seminole Nation.”

One has to wonder if this announcement from Winston had anything to do with the timing of his accuser filing a federal lawsuit against Florida State University? Even if Winston was thinking of sticking around Tallehassee for another year, maybe he thought leaving the school before doing more damage was the right move.
