The broadcasters in Kansas City have clearly mailed it in on this season. I don’t blame them. I totally understand too, being an Indians fan, I know what it’s like to have a meaningless September. However, an all new low has been established when these two broke down a kiss, whether or not it was rejected and how the guy did it behind the girls alledged parents.
I say alledged because if anything they are her grandparents but I’m willing to bet there is no relation.
They play this kid off as being “smitten” and not knowing what to do. It could be that…or it could be that he is bored out his mind because he is watching the Royals. It also could be that he is tired of explaining the game to his hot girlfriend/friend. Those are just a couple scenarios.
Personally, I don’t think he got rejected when he went in for the kiss. It didn’t look to me like he was going for the lips and that he was aiming for a peck on the cheek. Furthermore, she didn’t make a distinct head turn to avoid the incoming PDA.
The season is almost over, Royals fans (and Indians fans), just a little more patience and the misery will be over.
