This week’s Hump Day Hottie is the former Miss California Mabelynn Capeluj. If you’re like me, you’ve read her name about five times and came up with five different ways that it could possibly be pronounced. Either way, it all has the same meaning.

In addition to being the former queen of California, Capeluj was also the national spokesperson for the National Psoriasis Foundation. Capeluj was diagnosed with the chronic autoimmune disease when she was only 16 years old but didn’t let that stop her from becoming a pageant queen. Here is a good interview from 2013 where she described the struggle of dealing with psoriasis.
