LeBron James’ Headband Got The ’30 For 30′ Treatment

The Cleveland Cavaliers came out for game two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Chicago Bulls with something to prove. After losing Kevin Love to injury for the rest of the season and losing J.R. Smith to suspension for the first two games, a lot of talking heads began to write them off. The critics got louder after the Bulls khan fled their Cavs in game one, too.

It felt as if people just gave them the “welp.” But LeBron and Co. had a different plan and they showed it off on Wednesday night as they dismantled the Bulls.

Of course, that isn’t the story. The real story is LeBron James bringing back his headband. James — who once claimed that he was ditching his iconic headband because he “wanted to look like the rest of his team” — putting that headband on was like Clark Kent stepping into a phone booth.

The Cavaliers came out of the gate hot and fast and kept their foot on the gas the whole game. If this is any indication of how they are going to play the rest of the playoffs, it should be fun if you’re a Cleveland fan.

Needless to say, the headband was a pretty big deal. During one stoppage, the fans in attendance were even treated to a mockumentary on the headband.
