Welcome to the 80th edition of the Thunder Treats Podcast. Or, I guess I should say, episode 80.1. We had to record this episode twice because the first time was a complete disaster. DiNunz and I were going at it and Lydell was being a shitty mediator. But, since we love you all so much, we manned up and started over. You’re welcome.
John Abraham of the Arizona Cardinals hasn’t been in training camp due to a DUI he received in Atlanta back in June. It was one of the more colorful DUI’s since he received it after police found him passed out in his car…in the middle of the street…at 4pm.
This is what is known as the doldrums of sports. It’s the purgatory where all we have to watch is baseball. While that is great for some people, myself included, it is absolutely horrible for the likes of ESPN. Today, they did an entire segment on Peyton Manning dancing. They even brought in Herm Edwards.
Seriously.
