Weatherman Brian Niznansky for NBC 26 Today in Green Bay, Wisconsin was fooled by his director when he recited the lines on the teleprompter without realizing it was a joke.
“In other news, I love lamp”
If you remember Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Ron would read whatever was written on the teleprompter and would never realize what he had said. Also in that movie, Brick Tamland began to state things that he loved but was his IQ limited him to just name things in the room, hence “I Love Lamp”.
