During a raid in Long Island, police uncovered one of the best pieces of writing I have seen in a long time. While making the bust on the alleged house of a pimp, police found the “Rules 2 Da Game of Hoez”, which was alledgedly written by the resident, Steven McDaniel.
McDaniel and his girlfriend/partner/hoe Sandra Russell were running a narcotics operation from their home but, being the entreprenuers they are, they also had a prostitution ring on the side. Even better, they paid their prostitutes with drugs. A round robin of money if you will.
Well, like any good businessman, McDaniel knew there had to be an outline or a business plan. This brings us to the “Rules 2 Da Game of Hoes”. We now have a set of guidelines for all you up and coming pimps! The letter is a little hard to read, so I have transcribed it for you. Yo’ Welcome!
1.) Alwayz make them need and depend on you so you have power over them (power is control)
2.) Make them understand that you don’t need them, they need you, and they are replaceable. Never let them know if you need them deep down inside.
3.) Never let no1 get away with sneakin’ anything. Cause once they feel they can get away they will alwayz scheme.
4.) No matter how much like or care for 1 or any of them, don’t trust none of them. (like Scarface, who do I trust? Me, that’s who.)
5.) Awlayz stay 2 steps ahead of the game you have them playin.
6.) Don’t let them know all your plans, but alwayz try to know their’s.
7.) Make sure you own there minds, bodys, and souls. (And test it out every so often 2 make sure)
8.) Keep your bi (business?) on the low as possible when it comes 2 family and haters. (Cause you can’t trust none of them)
9.) Alwayz try 2 know whatz going on. (Make them tell on each other)
10.) Give respect when respects due (follow these rules and you should be gucci)
Well thought out, I have to admit. McDaniel is right here, at the end of the day we’re all just trying to be gucci, right?
