‘Sharknado 3: OH HELL NO!’ Gets Premier Date

Today, SyFy and movie studio The Asylum announced the newest installment in the Sharknado franchise will be named Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!. Also, they announced that the movie will premier on July 22 at 9/8 CT.

“We wanted this third title to boldly go where no shark movie has gone before. ‘Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!’ embraces the larger-than-life irreverence that has made these movies so popular and entertaining.”

In addition to all of that – and perhaps the most interesting part of the announcement – they announced that Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! will be seen in 86 countries including UK, Australia and all over Europe, Asia and Latin American.

The Sharknado franchise has officially moved from cult phenomenon to world-wide phenomenon. It’s no wonder they were able to pull even more stars and cameos for the third installment. Bo Derek, Jerry Springer, Michele Bachmann, Chris Kirkpatrick, Chris Jericho, David Hasseloff and Mark Cuban are just a few of the people you will see, with some surprises mixed in, I’m sure.

It really makes sense for these C and D level actors/celebrities to join this movie. Yes, it’s a cultural cinematic joke, but it’s also going to a joke that is both widely seen worldwide and will undoubtedly be trending on social media throughout the entire summer.
